Having been branded mentally by Gary Larson's comic "The Far Side" during the '80's, there is a streak of quirky humor that never really leaves my thinking in all that I see. Here are some moments of non-sense that gave me a laugh.

It all started with coming home and seeing three scooters on the lawn. 

When shall we take our humans on a walk?

M:We can be here right? D: I don't know, last time we got beat.

In all seriousness, I told these kids jump as far as they could. Why the girl on the left decided to tumble and the girl on the right decided to faceplant is beyond me. I took the picture expecting them to be flying in the air.

Pool Party, Baseball Game,

Yesterday I had a lot of fun at Levi's birthday party. He celebrated it with his two sisters, Chelsea and Rachel. My favorite part of the day were the fireworks and swimming.

Winter Break February 2011

We have had a forced winter break this year. So far it has almost been a full week off of school. Last weekend my dad bought a motorcycle. We have been riding together all over town. It was lots of fun. Especially when we went in the dirt, or off road.

Since Monday the snow flurry hit. We have been having fun playing light saber fights in the library. I want to do it in the field, so we have a lot more room. But it is 19* outside, so we can't go outside yet.

We walked the dogs. My legs started getting super cold when we were going home. We have watched Spiderman and Star Wars. We want to watch Star Wars #5 and Spiderman #2. Today.

New Skateboard

Dad: Sam, what are you excited about with your skateboard.
Sam: My new wheels, and my new metal trucks.
Dad: What is it like to ride the board?
Sam: It's a little bit hard.
Dad: Is it fun?
Sam: Yes, because it runs better.
Dad: Why do you love it Sam?
Sam: Because it has roller blade wheels and it looks better.

My First Gun

I can't believe it. Grandpa Dan gave me my first gun. It was my dad's gun when he was little. Now my dad and me can go shooting our .22's together.



Yesterday we played Croquet in grandma and grandpa's front yard. It was a lot of fun and I wacked the ball all over the place.
